My Calling and Mission
It's my calling as a Christian priest to remind all Christians that Christ's only commandment is universal compassion. Selfishness & cruelty work in direct opposition to compassion, turning a Christian into an antichrist. In Jesus's name, I call upon such to repent. Amen.
The Greatest Act of Christ
The greatest act of the Easter sacrifice was Gethsemane when Christ felt all our pain, rising above jealousy & anger to universal compassion. That gave him the strength for the cross, where he atoned for all, lifting us with him. That qualifies him to judge & rule. He lived his only commandment.
Selfishness Creates Hell
Hell is a state of mind, a nightmare of our creation caused when our cruelty, selfishness, hate, and fear are laid bare, revealing the damage we have done. Unable to forgive ourselves we are trapped in an internal fiery lake of despair, grief, depression, anxiety, self-loathing, etc. Only the compassion Jesus can reach through and help us forgive ourselves, freeing us from that hell. The worse we were, the long he waits before coming to get us. And we have to be willing to accept it.
Without Compassion You aren't Christian
Jesus
said that his followers would be known by their compassion, not a
cross, book, or building. Compassion is the willingness to ease pain
& struggle that strengthens & builds up all involved.
Selfishness is a lack of compassion that views others as ruthless
competition, a fear that feeds hate & cruelty, the polar opposite of
compassion. Only compassion prevents cruelty. In my copy of the King
James Bible, when Jesus heals he feels compassion
not pity. Compassion is the willingness to try to ease the pain and
struggle of someone in order to build then up and strengthen them. The
Gospels naturally focus on the spectacle of the crucifixion and the
importance of the resurrection, but the most significant moment was
the quietest, when the apostles on guard fell asleep as Jesus
struggled to bear the pain of the world. He asked not have to take the
cup but submitted to his mission and the will of the Father. It took
three tries and agony that made him sweat blood. He needed an angel to
help give him strength to get through it. Once he did, he was ready to
face the betrayal and the cross and still forgive. In experiencing
true empathy he expressed true universal compassion and now uses it
to judge & watch over us. He has compassion for the entire world
& took up his cross to heal us, to build us up & strengthen
us in ways we cannot. Called by the Holy Ghost & ordained, I
testify to this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
