The left and right wings are both vital. The left is the hope that lifts and propels, the right the caution that preserves and stabilizes. Extremism, regardless the side on which it flaps, is the aberrant third wing, hate's union of hope's delusion and caution's fear. Destabilizing it must be bound while small lest its growth force amputation. Veering in response to currents and obstacles is good, spinning out of control not so much.
